Procoro Hernandez

Procoro Hernandez, known by many as George, left this world on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019. He was born April 9, 1963, in Jocoque, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Alberto Hernandez and Magdalena Merino Hernandez.

He leaves behind his wife, Diane Forlidas Hernandez, who was honored to share 17 years with him. He also leaves behind his children, Matthew Hernandez and husband, Alan, and Brazos Kight; stepchildren, Zack Willmore and wife, Carrie; Tiffany Willmore and husband, Chris Webster; Aubrey Jones and wife, Amanda; Randall Jones and Nesby Bo-stick; siblings, Juan Hernandez and wife, Ruth; Trini Hernandez and wife, Theresa; Caro Hernandez Zavala and husband, Luis; Elia Ramirez and husband, Augustine; Norma Luna and husband, Ranulfo; Veronica Monroy and husband, Octavio; Gilbert Hernandez and fiancé, Valentina; Leni Vazquez and husband, Luis; brother-in-laws, Nick Forlidas and wife, Jade, Charles Forlidas and wife, Susan; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and other family members. He was a God honoring man who leaves a legacy of helping others and putting others’ needs before his own.

He loved his family and friends and was a true outdoors-man. He always had a beautiful smile to match his heart.

He worked as a lineman with J&L Utilities for over 37 years and was known to make magic happen with power lines.

He sought out rescue in many storms and kept watch over many natural disasters to ensure others had what they needed.

Funeral services were at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Wills Point, Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in his memory to St. Luke’s Catholic Church located in Wills Point.
