Lodge helps CASA

Odd Fellows Fred Ende Lodge No. 87 recently conducted a fundraiser, which provided CASA for Hunt County with $700. The funds will be used to benefit the abused children of Hunt County, which is currently close to 200. Two members of the lodge present the check to CASA on Friday, March 31. Shown, from left, are Phillip Poarch, Odd Fellows fundraising coordinator; Lori Cope, CASA for Hunt County executive director; and Cliff Cates, Odd Fellows trustee and treasurer. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
