Thrift and More Store membership celebrated

Lake Tawakoni Regional Chamber of Commerce marked the membership of Thrift and More Store, located at 8984 State Highway 34 S, Quinlan, with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. Owner Missie Favinger cuts the ribbon surrounded by her husband Bruce Favinger, mother Eula Wilson, vendor Nadine Clopp and chamber officers and members including Constable Kent Layton, Calvin Travers, Stella Travers, John Byrd, Bill Slaughter and Diane Slaughter, Slaughter Insurance Agency; chamber Executive Director Debi Darter; Karen Cory, Post Oak Art Studio; John Hinchliffe, West Tawakoni councilman; Felissa Davis and Norman Davis, Choose Health; Gene Sousa, Exit Realty Pinnacle Group; Dennis Simmons, Black Bear Crossing; Lynn Simmons, newly-named chamber executive Director; Roxanne Turner, chamber president; and Tiffony Upchurch, Quinlan ISD Director of Community School Relations.
