School board approves new teachers

The Quinlan Independent School District School Board approved new teacher hires Monday night at its regular monthly meeting.

They include Michael Tollison, math position at C.B. Thompson Middle School. Tollison has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian education from Dallas Baptist University;

Candice Card, business position at W.H. Ford High School. Card has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University in Commerce;

Frederick Kramer, business position at FHS. Kramer has a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of North Texas;

Donna Livolsi, English-language arts, TMS. Livolsi has a Master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Phoenix;

Lauren Dierolf, English-language arts position at TMS. Dierolf has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of North Texas;

Lora Titlow, mat position at TMS. Titlow has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Harding University;

Matt Wingo, ISS-coaching position at FHS. Wingo has a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education from the University of Jamestown in North Dakota;

Dan McGill, third-grade math position at A.E. Butler Intermediate School. McGill has worked for Quinlan ISD in a classroom aide position since Nov. 2007. McGill recently earned a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University;
