Super Science looks at chemical reactions

The final session of Super Science Saturday was held at the Tawakoni Library on Saturday, June 24. President Virginia Johnson said students learned about chemical reactions by combining vinegar and soda to inflate a balloon. The children also observed changes when combining food color, dish detergent and milk. The final activity was to watch the chemical reaction when Mentos were added to a carbonated beverage.
