225 grams of meth confiscated, two arrested

A 225.4-gram bag of methamphetamine was confiscated and two people were arrested Friday at a traffic stop by the constable’s office.

Constable Kent Layton said Deputy Constable Matthew Regan stopped a motorcycle with a male driver and female passenger about 12:30 in the 9000 block of FM 751.

“The stop was for no turn signal when attempting to turn onto County Road 3826. During the stop, the motorcycle fell while attempting to make a turn too fast. Both refused medical treatment,” Layton said.
