One arrested, drugs confiscated in Campbell

Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks said his office with help from Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents made contact Tuesday, July 25, at approximately 4 p.m. with a subject behind a business in the 6500 block of East Interstate 30 in the Campbell area.

Meeks said, “Information had been obtained in an earlier investigation by both agencies. Deputies and agents gained consent to search a camper trailer located behind the business. Inside the camper trailer was located approximately one and a half pounds of marijuana, approximately 108 grams of THC wax, approximately 36 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and approximately $7,800 in United States currency.”
