Community celebrates Quinlan Walmart remodeling grand opening

The Quinlan-Tawakoni community celebrated with Walmart employees Friday morning the store's remodeling grand opening.

The Quinlan Ford Panther Band, Flag Corps, cheerleaders and FFA chapter participated. Choir standout Austin Garrick sang the national anthem.

Store Manager Matthew Hampton emceed the event and expressed appreciation to the community for its support and employees for their service.

Other Walmart officials taking part were Market Manager Todd Libbra, Human Resources Manager Amber Chivers and Co-Manager Brian Neighbors.

Jeannie Ash represented State Representative Dan Flynn and presented a certificate of congratulations and a Texas state flag that had flown over the capitol to Hampton.
