Lady Panthers win homecoming match over Ferris

The Quinlan Ford varsity Lady Panthers volleyball team scored a victory Friday night on homecoming over the Ferris Yellowjackets.

Coach Frederick Kramer said the three-game win came on scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-18.

The junior varsity lost to the Yellowjackets 2-0 with game scores of 7-25 and 25-27.

The freshman team lost 1-2 with scores of 25-19, 17-25 and 20-25.

The Lady Panthers lost a 2-3 match Tuesday night in what Coach Kramer described as “tight and hard-fought.”

Kramer said, “The girls worked hard and gave every ounce of effort tonight.”

Games scores were 25-22, 23-25, 21-25, 25-25 and 12-15.

The junior varsity won its game 2-1 with scores of 12-25, 25-21 and 25-20.

The freshman team lost with scores of 20-25 and 15-25.

The Lady Panthers are scheduled to play at Caddo Mills today (Friday) and at Kaufman on Tuesday.
