Like Mother, Like Daughter

D.C. Cannon Principal Angela House starts her day like any normal mother. She makes sure her kids are ready for a good, full school day. She goes to work, and does the same thing for the elementary school kids that she is responsible for.

Angela is used to seeing the fruits of her labor, watching young people grow up and go through elementary, middle school, high school, and beyond. Now, Angela is getting a front row seat experience with her daughter, Bree, a student who’s just down the street from D.C. Cannon.

Bree is a student at Ford High School and has just been accepted by Dallas Baptist University. An all-round student success story, Bree is involved in countless activities on campus and has survived many personal life challenges that tested the faith and resolve of her and her family.
